With the Olympics commencing on 26th July in France, here’s what you you need to know about staying safe and getting important updates if something major happens:

FR-Alert System: FR-Alert is France’s alert system for emergencies. Here’s what you need to know:

What It Does: The system alerts anyone with a mobile phone in a danger zone, providing real-time information and instructions on how to stay safe.

• How It Works: You will get an SMS from 'FR-ALERT' or 'GOUV.FR' if there’s an emergency.

• Who Gets It: Anyone with a mobile phone in France, including visitors and tourists.

When It's Activated

• Trigger: The alert system kicks in if there’s a major incident.

• Notifications: Mobile network subscribers in the affected area will receive SMS alerts from FR-Alert.

• Alert Content: The messages will include vital information about the nature of the incident and recommended actions to ensure personal safety.

We hope all Superdrug Mobile users enjoy the Olympics!
