Your Superdrug Mobile SIM may not work abroad unless you make a one-off change to your phone settings.

Step-by-step guide

Follow these steps to get your phone ready for roaming:

  1. Go to ‘Settings’

  2. Tap ‘More…’ under ‘Wireless & Networks’ or 'Connections'

  3. Open ‘Mobile Network’

  4. Open ‘Access Point Names’ - if you don’t have any access point you’ll need to create a new one and skip to the bottom.

  5. Open ‘3’

  6. Open ‘Edit Access Point’ and change the following settings:

    • Name: 3

    • APN: mobile.connect

    • Username: [leave this blank]

    • Password: [leave this blank]

    • MMS proxy: mms.three.co.uk

    • MMS port: 8799

    • APN type: [leave this blank]

That’s the only thing you have to change. If there’s any information in other fields, you can leave them as they are.

If you find you're not able to change the APN you'll need to add a new one. The settings are here:
