Travelling within Europe?

  • You can roam on Superdrug Mobile – it’s all included as part of your plan!

  • You can use up to 12GB of data as part of your allowance for free (we'll send you an SMS when you're near the limit), as part of our Fair Usage policy.

  • You’ll be able to receive calls from abroad when you’re in the UK.

  • Once you've used 12GB of data you can buy more by purchasing a cash add-on. View our guide here.

Travelling outside of Europe?

  • You can roam and make international calls when using Superdrug Mobile if you purchase a cash add-on. View our guide to find out how to do this.

  • There are some European Countries that are not part of the EEA and EU, which are not eligible for free roaming. Check our Price Guide (scroll down to the bottom of the page) to see if the country you're travelling to is covered - check under International Roaming.

Device settings

You need to change your Access Point Network (APN) settings to make sure your phone works abroad. View our handy guide.

Spend limit

To help you control the cost of using your phone when you’re abroad we’ve set a worldwide roaming spend limit of £45 (including VAT).

This means you won't be able to spend more than this amount when you're away, even if you've bought more than this in cash add-ons.

When you reach your spend limit you won’t be able to carry on using services on your phone. Your £45 limit will reset each month when your plan renews.

We’ll send you a message by text and email when you're reaching your limit.

If you want to change your limit please get in touch with us.

Inadvertent roaming

This happens when your device connects to a network in a different place to where you currently are. It can be more common if you live near, or travel close to, an international border, or a coastline which borders the sea.

For example, if you live near the Northern Irish border, your device may connect to a Republic of Ireland network (even though you didn't ask it to).

If this happens, your plan may start using your Fair Usage allowance, or your cash add-on (if you have one). If you start roaming in this way, we'll send you an Advice of Charge message, which includes details of the costs.

To prevent inadvertent roaming you can make changes on your device and disable data roaming. This stops your phone from using the internet on a foreign network. You can also use Wi-Fi where possible.
